Well today I have been educated. At Boutique Markets just recently a lady walked into my marquee then continued on her merry way. She was wearing a really cool pair of jeans that got my attention straight away. After she left I said to Katie from Evie Rose that the jeans would make a great Fab Bag. Katie informed me that I most probably would never make a bag out of those jeans as they were True Religion Jeans, the lady would have paid a fortune for them and would not be choosing to give them up any time soon to me!! She went on to tell me that they were probably worth $450.00. Now I am not a fashion guru and do not keep up with the brands and neither buy them. I was at Chermside Shopping Centre the other day and after getting my hair coloured (yes I am now sporting a lovely bit too blonde look) I was window shopping past a shop called Universal and there were these jeans. Of course I had to check them out. Katie if you read this they were $600. And I had to try them on. Just to know. And they were fabulous. They even give drooping bottoms a lift!!!! Who needs plastic surgery of the rear area when there is True Religion Jeans in this world. Unfortunately they are still at the shop. I can dream. One day I might just find the jeans at one of my local haunts - Lifeline.
Happy Fashion Wearing to you all. Off to cut up some jeans to make Mini Me Bags for the daughters, just like the one Mum has purchased. Look forward to posting some pics hopefully tomorrow.

OMG... $600 - I NEVER! No wonder they looked fabulous - for that price they would want to.. anyway -you don't need over priced Jeans to make your bags look like they do anyway Deb..
